Where it's used
Around the hob, grease near the range hood, bathroom glass edges, tile joints, around drains, mould on sealant and other narrow gaps.
How it works
We first check whether the material can take high temperatures, then steam the stained areas to soften the grime, together with scrubbing and wiping. Some spots still need cleaning agents; steam alone isn't enough.
Limits
Steam helps loosen grime, but it can't fix yellowed sealant, deep discolouration, damaged surfaces or stains that have soaked into the material over time.

Steam cleaning the kitchen range hood (single visit), the sink drain and the shower tray drain are each a fixed price per item, shown in the quote table below, and can be booked on their own. Same-day and evening jobs carry a surcharge (as with ordinary cleaning).

FAQ
Does steam cleaning disinfect?▾
High-temperature steam helps deal with some bacteria and grime, but the actual disinfecting effect depends on contact time, surface and process. It shouldn't be exaggerated as medical-grade disinfection.
Can steam cleaning remove grease?▾
It helps soften grease, especially along kitchen edges and in gaps, but thick grease still needs cleaning agents and scrubbing.
Will steam damage wooden floors?▾
Some wood, sealant, painted surfaces and heat-sensitive materials aren't suitable for high-temperature steam, so we check the material first.
Can steam clean bathroom mould?▾
It can improve surface and gap grime, but if the sealant has turned black deep down, it may not fully recover.
How is steam cleaning different from ordinary cleaning?▾
Ordinary cleaning relies on cleaning agents and wiping; steam cleaning adds high temperature to soften grime, which suits narrow gaps and stubborn spots.
