Got professional skills? Tell us the services you're best at
Once you pass Shane Services' review and interview (skills and integrity), we'll promote your services and work on our website and platforms. Introduce yourself first; then we'll decide which services to list.
ApplyHow it works
Step 1
Submit your application
Tell us your speciality, the standard services you can offer, links to your work and referees.
Step 2
Review and work check
We check that your work is genuine and that your services can be described with clear timing, deliverables and prices.
Step 3
Interview
Beyond skills, we value honesty, respect for customers and not over-promising. If there are integrity issues, no amount of skill will get you through.
Step 4
Trial jobs and listing
Once accepted you start with a few trial jobs; if customer feedback and performance are good, we promote your services on our website and platforms.
What we value most
- Honesty: genuine work, genuine experience, no exaggeration.
- Respect for customers: clear prices, extra work on site only with the customer's agreement, prompt follow-up on problems.
- Professionalism: able to explain your methods, with clear timing, deliverables and prices for your services.

FAQ
Will I be guaranteed orders?
No. We only provide the platform and promotion; whether you get orders depends on customers' needs and your performance. Please understand this before applying.
How do I get jobs? Do customers contact you directly?
It's not a dispatch system. Customers see your services and prices on your shop page and send an enquiry, which we forward to your seller dashboard; you then contact the customer directly to confirm the time and details. Whether to take a job is up to you. There may not be many enquiries at first, so we suggest sharing your shop link with friends, past clients and relevant groups too.
Am I an employee or self-employed?
Freelancers are self-employed, not Shane Services employees. Detailed terms (including fees, payment and responsibilities) will be set out in writing after you pass the interview.
How are customer payments handled?
For now, you and the customer settle directly; payments, refunds and disputes are between you and the customer, and Shane Services isn't involved. Personal shops are currently listed free; if payment through the platform is introduced later, any fees will be set out in writing first.
Do I need insurance?
You provide your own relevant insurance (e.g. public liability insurance) and must provide a copy of the policy before listing.
How will my work be used?
Only after you pass the interview and agree in writing will we show your work and profile on our website or social media. Work showing customers' faces needs the customer's separate consent.
What happens after I apply?
We'll review your details and contact you to arrange an interview if needed. We may not reply individually to unsuccessful applications.
